60 Piece Sterling Silver cutlery for a Service of 12, made by Tiffany & Co. in the iconic Chrysanthemum pattern designed by highly influential Tiffany silversmith Charles T. Grosjean in 1878

The famed Chrysanthemum pattern, highly desirable and considered Tiffany’s best pattern that they have produced in their storied history, incorporates classic Baroque elements married with modern motifs of nature, all the while paying homage to Japanese art that influenced Grosjean’s designs.

First introduced by Tiffany & Co. in 1878, the extremely luxurious Chrysanthemum pattern was patented in 1880 and has only gained popularity and admiration since, the pattern expanding to other holloware pieces further produced by Tiffany.

A distinctive remark about Chrysanthemum is that the detail of the pattern is on the front and the reverse side of the pieces, showing the remarkable craftsmanship and artistry that went into producing such a beloved design.
