Piet Hein

Piet Hein - architect, mathematician, poet. A rare ability to bring poetry, geometry and design together in a harmonious design, where function and art is weighed equally.

Piet Hein's sculptures are always connected to a geometrical shape, in other words never abstract/emotional determined. Which could indicate that his sculptures are a spin-off from more specific task's, as it was with the Super-egg that came as a result of his work of planning the "Sergels Torg" in Stockholm using the SUPERELLIPSEĀ®.

With his mathematical intuition, Hein first found the form and then explained the geometrical figure which was later adopted on a large scale throughout the world, shown in museums all around the world include Denmark, Sweden, English ,Austria ,etc.
