Georg Jensen's iconic "Dove" brooch with synthetic cabochon sapphires, No. 123. Circa 1940's. Sterling silver. Handmade, it measures 1.75" in diameter.

The Georg Jensen iconic Dove was originally produced by the artist, Kristian Mohl-Hansen. However, Jensen seeing its potential, bought the design from the artist circa 1909 and used it in his own creations. It became one of the most enduring symbols of the Georg Jensen Silversmithy.
