Pair of large and impressive Art Deco sterling silver candlesticks by Erik Magnussen. He was hired by Gorham in 1925 to design modern pieces to compete with the Danish influence of Georg Jensen. His contribution at the company was short-lived and he was let go in 1929 after the stock-market crash.
